Dimmer Kit with Remote
The Natural Light remote controlled dimmer allows you to adjust the amount of daylight entering the room through your tubular skylight. The dimmer is available for all tubular skylight models (10″, 13″, 18″ and 21″). It’s perfect for any room that may need to be darkened during the day including bedrooms, TV or media rooms and conference rooms. The dimmer kit is fully assembled and easy to install.
How Does the Dimmer Work?
The dimmer kit is a short section of light pipe that houses a rotating disc used to block out the incoming light. The amount of light entering the room will vary on the position of the rotating disc which is operated by adjusting the ON and OFF buttons on the included remote control.
Dimmer Kit Installation
The dimmer kit assembly is installed as the lower portion of the light pipe. The kit is 12″ long and its length must be calculated into the overall light pipe run needed for your installation. The dimmer comes fully assembled from the factory, it just needs to be plugged into a standard electrical outlet. The kit also includes a receiver that must hang vertically on a nearby stud in the attic. The dimmer may also be hard-wired using a momentary switch (not included). NOTE: When a dimmer is installed together with a light kit, the light kit must be installed below the dimmer.

Electric Light Kit
There may be instances where a room is either too small o it's undesirable to have a second light fixture on the ceiling. Natural Light has an ingenious solution! The light kit can be installed in the existing fixture’s opening or can be added anywhere with additional electrical wiring. The light kit is available in 2 different models: single bulb and dual bulb.
How Does the Electric Light Kit Work?
The light kit adds an electric light fixture into your tubular skylight for night time use. The light fixture is installed directly into the lower portion of the light pipe and is wired to a wall switch. For maximum energy efficiency, Natural Light recommends using CFL or LED bulbs.
Electric Light Kit Installation
Installation of the light kit is very straightforward, but does require electrical wiring skills. A small hole is drilled in the lower section of the light pipe to accommodate the light fixture. The main lamp bracket comes assembled, but needs to be attached to the light pipe with the supplied nuts and washers. The kit must be wired to 120 VAC supply according to local codes and must be properly grounded. Complete instructions are included with each kit for easy installation. Additional wiring may require a licensed professional.

Solar LED Light Kit
Just because night falls, doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the light from your tubular skylight. The Solar LED Light Kit is the perfect solution to fill your space with a soft glow even after the sun has set. The Solar LED is designed to be installed inside the light pipe of any of our tubular skylights.
The kit includes rechargeable batteries that are charged during the day and illuminate between 8-10 hours at night with an auto shut-off feature. Homeowners are eligible for the 30% Federal Solar Tax Credit on all residential tubular skylight installations that include our Solar LED Light Kit.

QUIET AND POWERFUL
Exhaust Vent Kit
The bathroom is unquestionably one of the most common rooms for adding additional light. Yet large amounts of warm moisture laden air can be an issue. That is why Natural Light has designed an integrated skylight exhaust system available for the 10″ model. Our Vent Kit is capable of exhausting up to 125 cfm, enough to vent a bathroom and shower stall. Natural Light’s ingenious design disguises the intake vent in a sleek trim ring that incorporates the skylight diffuser. No more ugly vent grates! The vent is connected to a motor that is remotely located in your attic space, making it extremely quiet. Flexible exhaust tubing allows for many venting options including a dual exhaust in your shower stall. The vent kit can also accommodate a light kit for evening lighting.
Attractive Light Fixture with a Hidden Intake
Natural Light has designed a stylish light fixture for the vent kit with a streamlined intake. The integrated intake eliminates the need for traditional vent grates. The vent kit is perfect for bathrooms and laundry rooms to help remove moisture buildup.

Angle Adapters / Elbows
On some installations, it may not be possible to install a straight run of light pipe. For those installations, Natural Light offers a 12″ angle adapter (or elbow). The angle adapter is constructed out of the same highly reflective material as our light pipe.
The angle adapters are available for all tubular skylight models. The 10″ and 13″ elbows adjust from 0 – 45 degrees while the 18″ and 21″ adjust from 0 – 30 degrees. The angle adapters skew the direction of the light pipe to avoid attic obstructions. Other common applications include steep pitched roofs or cathedral roof installations. Each angle adapter comes with additional tek screws and foil tape.

Extra Light Pipe
Extra sections of light pipe are available for tall attic installations in either 12″ or 24″ lengths. Each section comes with additional tek screws and foil tape. Below is a chart listing the maximum length of light pipe recommended for each tubular skylight model:

Tile Roof Flashing Skirt
Most tubular skylight installations on tile roofs will need an additional flashing skirt. The custom designed flashing skirt is installed over the tubular skylight flashing to ensure a weather-tight installation and is available for our 10”, 13” and 18” models.
The flashing skirt is made of a soft, heavy-gauge aluminum that can be molded over any tile shape. The rubber seal fits over the base of the flashing. The steps to install a tubular skylight on tile roofs are slightly different than a standard installation. Please refer to our detailed installation instructions. See Model.

Turret Extension for Tile Roofs
The turret extension is a uniquely designed extender for the tubular skylight and may be required for some high profile S-tile roof installations. It raises the dome assembly up 3 inches to allow additional room for thicker tile roofs.
The turret is slipped over the flashing top opening to accommodate the additional height of the S-tiles. It is available for the 10” and 13” tubular skylight models in powder coated black or mill finish. See Model.
